Why Choose Tap & Table?

At Tap & Table, we are hard at work finishing our official Texas Food Handler Certification Course, built to meet the standards set by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). 


Our curriculum is currently under preparation for submission and approval.

Once approved, you’ll be able to purchase the course, complete it online, and earn a Texas-recognized Food Handler, Food Manager, or TABC Seller/Server certificate—all through Tap & Table Incorporated.


Our course will follow Texas-required standards, including:


  • Recognizing foodborne illness risks
  • Personal hygiene & proper hand-washing
  • Cross-contamination prevention
  • Time & temperature control
  • Cleaning & sanitizing procedures
  • Safe storage, preparation, and service practices
     

In the meantime,  Tap & Table does not currently offer accredited Food Handler, Manager, or TABC Server/Seller certification courses. No certificates, previews, or pre-sales are available until approval is granted by the Texas Department of State Health and Human Services (DSHS).

To support Texas’ diverse workforce, all courses will be offered in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Chinese. Language availability may be released in phases, with English launching first, followed by additional languages as each version is completed and approved.
